The Application Process

Enquire

Call, visit, or message us to express your interest and learn more.

Pupil/Student Interview

We invite the child for a brief interview and interaction with our team — assessing readiness and fit.

Pass the Interview

If successful, the pupil receives admission clearance.

Submit Transfer Documents

Bring the required academic records, birth certificate, transfer letter (if applicable), and any supporting documents.

Successful Admission & Placement

Once documents are verified and the process is complete, your child is officially part of the St. Martin family.

Uniform & Fee Plan Agreement

As your child gets fitted in their new school uniform, we’ll work with you to finalize a fee payment schedule that aligns with your budget.

Here are important things parents should know when transferring their child to a CBC (Competency-Based Curriculum) school like St. Martin:

  • With the current education system, you may be required to provide the learner’s Unique Identifier for a successful transfer.
  • The current and new school must both approve the transfer request usually via KEMIS (formerly NEMIS).
  • Admission Interview – At St. Martin, this short assessment/interview is often required to understand the learner’s CBC progress and identify support needs.
  • Uniform & School Resources – New students may need new CBC-specific learning tools (e.g., activity books, project materials) and school-specific uniform policies. Let your child experience a new start, at least…
  • Moral & Spiritual Guidance – Especially at faith-based schools like St. Martin, character and moral development are core — align your expectations accordingly.

NOTE: 

  1. Grade 6 & 9 pupils who have already registered KIPSEA / KJSEA in another school will sit for the main exams in the respective schools they registered. Either way, feel free to transfer to St. Martin before or after.
